The HERMES rail simulator offers a hi-fidelity scenario generator that can provide real-time data to signalling and driver training facilities.
Graffica is currently developing a rail training framework based on the HERMES simulator. This will include real time driver training, and familiarisation with new concepts such as driver advisory as well as signaller training, particularly in the operation of train control systems. The Graffica GSDK distributed architecture provides options to allow interaction between driver and signaller trainees, and interaction between signallers. Graffica will be offering standalone training options, using the objective scoring techniques developed for Graffica’s ATM training systems.
